CPR's diverse nonprofit, foundation and government clients have several things in common. They are mission-driven and focused on community interests. Most have a history of success. Above all, they share a commitment to being as effective as possible.

Although CPR does accept short-term assignments, most of our engagements come from clients with whom we have deep, ongoing relationships. CPR helps organizations that do work in the arts, children, youth and families, animal welfare, health, aging and long-term care, human services, education, housing, policy and advocacy, AIDS/HIV, philanthropy/grantmaking and other fields devoted to the public good.

We have a great respect for the innate expertise of the people and organizations for whom we work. Our job is to bring those assets forward, leveraging the wisdom and abilities of our clients and their communities.

From grassroots nonprofits to foundations, from government agencies to statewide and national membership associations, CPR's clients turn to us as trusted partners and advisors.

Community Foundations
Through our work with dozens of community foundations and as the creator of the first strategic plan for the field, CPR has become recognized as a leading provider of research, evaluation and planning services to community foundations. We support an incredibly diverse spectrum of grantmakers across the United States and around the world, addressing every major aspect of community foundation management locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Private Foundations, Other Grantmakers and Grantmaking Associations CPR works with a diverse group of grantmakers and supporting organizations. We produced the strategic plan for the Council on Foundations, a major policy document that has stimulated significant developments in that organization. CPR also delivers high-impact results for funder affinity groups and collaboratives, healthcare conversion foundations, family foundations and other private foundations.

Community-Based and Public Benefit Organizations
CPR helps many types of community-based groups, government agencies and other public benefit entities grow stronger and more effective in fulfilling their missions. Whether for food bank or youth arts organization, vocational program or public health agency, CPR brings tremendous value matched to the needs of our direct service clients.
